Manufacturing Production Supervisor

AMBAC International is seeking a Manufacturing (and/or Remanufacturing) Production Supervisor to oversee our production operations, ensuring that products are produced safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of production workers, identifying opportunities for improvement and employee engagement, and promoting a culture of ownership and accountability.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. You should also have a demonstrated knowledge of machine assembly processes and equipment and be comfortable collaborating with other departments and providing clear direction to production team members.
This role will start as Monday-Thursday, 10 hours per day, 6AM-4:30PM; and could grow into a Weekend mini-shift of Friday-Sunday, 6AM-6PM.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Remanufacturing experience is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing (and remanufacturing) assembly and test processes, ideally in car or truck engines or fuel injection
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and engage production workers.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with other departments and provide clear direction to production workers.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, such as lean manufacturing or Six Sigma.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
